30 weeks

I just looked at my picture from 3 weeks ago and it seems like everything else about me has gotten bigger, except for my belly....oh well!

nesting...continued!

Last night I was a crafting fool. I didn't actually sew anything yet, but I cut out a ton of things to be sewn.

I got out my stash of fabrics and decided that it was time to make something for my baby!

I'll post completed pictures later, but these are the beginnings!

These will become cloth wipes. I had the flannel already and it is slightly stained, so it will make nice wipes.

We are going to use cloth diapers and it only makes sense to use cloth wipes too.

I am making burp cloths too!  I had been saving this fabric for something else, but I just had to use it for me!

And finally this is the mobile that I'm going to be making.

I am so excited about it!

I was searching for ideas and found it here.

Again more pictures to come when it's all done!

nesting

It's begun, the nesting that is.

There are just a little over 10 short weeks left until this baby comes and I'm slowly getting ready.

I've washed and folded impossibly small onsies, and brought the crib upstairs.

Just 10 weeks.

happenings

We've been busy up here in the UP.

Jason has been crazy busy teaching, studying for his GRE tests, and trying to figure out when he is going to finish writing his novel!

I have been busy finishing up at the farmers market, nannying, and...oh yeah, GROWING A HUMAN!

I have three months left until the little one makes it's appearance.

26weeks 5 days.

Last weekend we surprised my mom by throwing her a 50th birthday party at Tarry Hall Skating Rink.

She was totally surprised, and never guessed a thing.

Thanks to everyone who helped and who came, it was a great party!

That look stayed on her face for about 10 minutes!

Even Sophie got to roller skate!

On Sunday that same weekend we went over to Detroit to watch the Tigers beat the Orioles!

Did I mention that we sat over the bull pen and got to watch Verlander warm up before the game.

half way there baby!

We have hit the halfway point and I am really feeling it this week.

Jason and I helped a friend when her moving company pooped out on her. I know I didn't do to much but I just did it for too long, so the whole week I've actually felt like a pregnant lady. I even broke down and bought a body pillow to sleep with, now if only I could make whatever is making my allergies act up GO AWAY! The baby has started kicking the last couple of weeks which is really cool to feel. I like it that the baby lets me know that it's there!

The farmer's market has been going great. I have been getting repeat customers, lots of promises to come back, and I'm even being talked about around the community. Also, I now have tutus for sale at the U.P. Children's Museum!

It also worked out for us to come home for almost a week!  We are so excited to see family!  Jason hasn't seen his nieces all summer long.  We'll see you Wednesday!

20 weeks 2 days.

The middle picture is a t-shirt I made, because no one has them in stock anywhere!

At the Blueberry festival in Marquette on Friday. Wearing my very cute new shirt from Mom!
