Do your duty today

I don't care if you are RED or BLUE or somewhere else entirely on the color wheel, PLEASE get out and vote.
I know the lines will be long, so bring a book or shock your neighbor in line and say Hi.
I know you think your vote won't count, well maybe it won't, but you never know.
You'll never know if you could have, should have, if only you would have voted.
That is all I'll say on this topic.
Go and do.

(There you go Amber, consider it updated)

framing buttons

here are a few of my latest projects:

1: Found this in the basement and spray painted it copper.
I'm going to put it above my desk to hold do-das.

2. I found these picture frames for 99 cents and painted them copper.
I'm going to put my favorite pictures in them and group them in a series of nine.

3. Jason and I decided that it was about time we put some of my pictures on the wall, so that is precisely what I am doing.
These are of the RER train in Paris.

4. I am actually going to put more pictures on this wall, but they are all going to be of pictures I took in Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. I think there is going to be 10 in all.
(don't worry, you'd never know I took them in a cemetery)

5. My mom got me 2 cards of buttons that they used to use in the stores and I loved them so much that I decided to frame them. LOVE THESE! Thanks Mom.

Daylight savings

I love fall.
The crisp air.
The leaves changing colors.
The wind blowing the leaves through the streets.
I love it.
What I do not love is how fast it gets dark.
The sun sets at 7:30pm.
The sun rises at 7:50am.
Over 12 hours of darkness....ahhhh.
The only benefit of the sun rising so late is that I actually get to see it rise.
I love the morning sun.
There is something so fresh. So innocent. So new about the morning sun.
