School started on Monday, and the craziness started too.
Before I go into that though, my parents came to Marquette on their way to the other nether regions of the UP.
It was so good to see them.
They forced me to ride my bike downtown by bribing me with a new printer.
It worked, I went, but I wasn't happy about it!
They are amazing parents, and Jason and I are so blessed to have them in our lives, and blessed with everything they do for us.
I worked a crazy shift at the pizza place on Sunday night, while Jason got to hang out with my parents around the fire.
I had an 8am class on Monday, but that meant that I was up and moving much earlier than normal and was able to drink coffee with my parents for a couple of hours before they headed out.
I am nannying for one of the English professors three days a week, and then working at the pizza place on the weekends.
So in other words, I am going to be one busy, busy girl.
Hopefully I'll be able to schedule some time with my husband!
In other news, our landlord came over on Wednesday afternoon to fix a couple of minimal repairs, one of them being a leak from our shower that goes into the basement.
It turned into more than just a simple repair.
He was over yesterday until 9:30 at night and made 3 trips to the hardware store.
Poor guy. But that means that we have been without a shower and yesterday I wasn't able to even go to the bathroom in my own house.
Thank goodness for a really good friend, that let us use his shower otherwise things would be smelling foul. ("things" meaning me)
Thanks to my aunt and grandma I was able to go shopping at Target for a few essentials.
I got the rug below for our living room, and we got a new coffee pot that is programmable. We are hoping that if coffee is already made when our alarm goes off, we might get up faster.
We'll see how that goes.
Thanks Gram and Necie!

Pictured below is my craft projects that I was able to make thanks to my mom for taking me to the fabric store.
They look a little circus-y, but I like it a lot, and it really brightens the room.
Thanks Mom!
